Wooden blocks
Our wooden blocks are made with sustainable wood from the Swedish natural environment, namely Alder – an especially dense, durable wood that has a remarkable capacity for holding water, while at the same time not as heavy as other kinds of wood. And weight is quite important when it comes to blocks, as they are hand-held tools. The same can be said of balance. A good block should lay well balanced in your hand.
Any size, any shape - standard as well as customized blocks

We have three standard shapes for blocks to choose from.
Pricelists for all standard blocks will be emailed to you upon request.
JACOB – our version of the classical oval shape.
BOB – a more rounded shape, especially good for gathering.
KARL – for supersized blocks in an oval shape.
Click on the name of the block shape (see below) and you’ll get a PDF that displays that shape’s dimensions in millimeters for all of our standard sizes that are currently available.
All blocks are milled on both sides in a CNC machine. The handle is attached to the block using an aluminum bracket and screws made of stainless steel. This makes a solid, long-lasting connection, and allows for transferring handles to other blocks.
The bracket and the handle will last you longer than the block. This is why you can also order only the block itself and/or the handle, along with the bracket separately.
Can blocks be made to order in your own design? Yes, absolutely!
It’s the same procedure as it is for molds.
You send us a drawing or a file and we will quote you a price. As each custom block is one-of-a-kind and uniquely your own, it will however, naturally, not be the same price as standard blocks.
